#  Intro to Care Profiles & Wishlists

## Learn how recipient preferences make gifting more thoughtful and personalized.

Our platform makes it easy to recognize others in ways that actually resonate. That’s where **Care Profiles** and **Wishlists** come in—they help take the guesswork out of gifting by giving you insight into what each person truly appreciates.

### ✨ What is a Care Profile?

A **Care Profile** is a short questionnaire recipients fill out to share:

- Their favorite gift categories (e.g. food, wellness, tech)
- Dietary preferences or restrictions (e.g. no alcohol, gluten-free)
- Their appreciation style (a.k.a. **RecognitionDNA**)
- Shipping and contact preferences

Once completed, the profile helps guide gift choices and improve personalization across the platform.

### 🎁 What is a Wishlist?

A **Wishlist** is a collection of gifts a recipient has selected from our catalog that they’d love to receive.  
This gives senders a direct look into products that align with the recipient’s interests and preferences.

**Wishlists help with:**

- Choosing a specific gift if you’re not using Recipient Choice
- Understanding what types of gifts your team values
- Avoiding items that may not be a good fit

### 📍 Where to find this info

As a sender, you can:

- Open a recipient’s profile from the **Contacts** tab
- View completed Care Profile responses
- See their Wishlist (if filled out)
- Filter recipients by gift preferences (e.g. no alcohol) when selecting gifts

### 💡 Why it matters

- Makes recognition more **meaningful** and **relevant**
- Reduces gift mismatches or support issues
- Shows your team that you see them as individuals

Encourage recipients to fill out their profile early for the best experience!
