When a Recipient Doesn’t Choose a Gift in Time

How we handle unclaimed gifts during Recipient Choice campaigns.

If your recipient hasn’t selected their gift yet, don’t worry — there’s plenty of time and an easy way to remind them.


⏰ Gift Redemption Window

Recipients now have up to one year from the date the gift email is sent to claim their gift.
During that time, they can open their personalized link at any point to browse and select their item.

If the recipient doesn’t make a selection within that window, the link will expire automatically after one year.


✉️ Resending a Gift Email

If a recipient hasn’t redeemed their gift yet, senders can resend the claim email anytime directly from their order page:

  1. Go to the order within your account.
  2. Find the recipient’s name or email address.
  3. Click “Resend email” next to their name.

This will immediately resend the original gift email with their unique selection link — no need to contact support.


💡 Helpful Tips

  • If a recipient says they didn’t receive their email, have them check spam or promotions folders.
  • You can resend as many times as needed — it won’t affect their gift link or the expiration date.
  • If a full year passes without redemption, the link will deactivate automatically, and the recipient will no longer be able to claim their gift.
