Yes, this has changed!
Based upon sender and recipient feedback, Caroo has now moved to a credit based system. If your recipient does not redeem their gift during the verification window, they will receive email to redeem a credit within their Caroo account**. This was put into place to allow recipients to select from gift cards OR a physical gift :)
