Setting up your Milestones Campaign - Tiered Anniversaries

Celebrate anniversaries based upon tenure!

Want to send specific gifts based upon how long your team members have been with you?! We have your answer! 

To get started with your tiered Anniversary Campaign:

1. Select your gift for your first tier.. 

2. Once you've chosen your gift, select "Automated Milestones" as your subscription type and "Anniversary" 

3. You'll then be prompted to select if you would like your gifts to be based upon employee tenure- select "yes"

4. Next, you'll start the fun part - choosing your gifts and what years get what! A few things to note:

  • Each tier is grouped by Anniversary Year!
  • You can decide if you want gifts to be one year at a time by selecting "only", or for multiple years by selecting "through"

5. Once you've made your selections for your first tier, select "add tier"..

6. Choose what year/years you would like to recognize next and select your next gift.. 

7. Continue this process as many times as you'd like until you're complete! 

8. Next, select "continue"

9. You'll then be prompted to add your recipients! You can add by:

  • selecting "add new contact" and adding the individuals that way (want to know more about adding a new contact? check out our How to Create a New Contact article!
  • selecting individuals you already have in your contacts by checking the box next to their name
  • Add a new roster with the information of all of the individuals associated! (check out our Adding Multiple Contacts article!)

10. Once you've added your recipients, you'll be sent to a page that will notify you if any of your recipients do not have anniversary dates! If all do, you'll be prompted to continue

11. Add your anniversary gift message  

12.  Take advantage of your custom branded recipient experience! It adds a wonderful touch to your already meaningful anniversary gifts..

13.  Select your start date..

For milestones campaigns, here is the biggest difference with "start date"

    • Immediate Start: subscription will get up and running today, but individuals will receive their email on their anniversary at the time you started the campaign today
    • Future Start Date: Have the campaign start on a specific date of your choosing with the emails sending at a specific time!

We like to recommend using a future start date of the next day (so if you're setting up your campaign on 8/1, set up your start date for 8/2 at 9:00am), this way, your recipients will receive their email first thing on their anniversary date!

14. Once you add your payment information, select place order and your campaign will be set to go!
