Claiming Your Gift: How It Works & Troubleshooting

Everything you need to know about claiming your gift, troubleshooting common issues, and understanding expiration timelines.

If you've received a gift from your company, team, or a colleague, claiming it is quick and easy. Whether you've received a gift card, a gift you can choose yourself, or a pre-selected gift, this guide will walk you through the process.

Important: Gift links remain active for up to one year from the date the gift email is sent unless otherwise specified by the sender.


How to Claim Your Gift

Option 1: Claim Your Gift from the Email

Step 1: Open Your Gift Email

Look for the email containing your gift notification and click Claim Your Gift.

Step 2: Enter Your Information

You'll be prompted to enter your name and shipping address (if applicable).

Step 3: Select or Review Your Gift

Depending on the type of gift you've received:

Recipient Choice Gift

  • Browse the available collection.
  • Select your preferred gift.
  • Complete the checkout process.

Gift Card

  • Choose your preferred retailer.
  • Complete the claim process.
  • Your gift card will be delivered electronically after redemption.

Pre-Selected Gift

  • Review the gift details.
  • Confirm your shipping information.
  • Submit your claim.

Step 4: Submit Your Claim

Once you've completed your selection or confirmed your information, you'll see a confirmation screen.

If your gift includes shipping, you'll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.


Option 2: Claim a Gift from Your Account

If you already have an account, you can claim available gifts directly from your dashboard.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Navigate to Orders.
  3. Select Received.
  4. Locate the gift you'd like to claim.
  5. Click the three-dot menu () under Actions.
  6. Select Claim Gift and follow the prompts.

Common Questions

How Long Do I Have to Claim My Gift?

Recipients have up to one year from the date the gift email is sent to claim their gift.

After one year, the gift link will expire automatically and can no longer be used.


Can a Gift Link Be Used More Than Once?

No. Each gift link is unique and can only be used once.

If you've already completed the claim process, your gift has likely been redeemed.


Can Someone Else Use My Gift Link?

No. Gift links are intended for the recipient who received the gift and should not be forwarded to others.


What Is a Recipient Choice Gift?

A Recipient Choice gift allows you to select your preferred gift from a curated collection provided by the sender.

Available gifts may vary based on:

  • Your organization's program settings
  • Your location
  • Product availability
  • Shipping restrictions

Troubleshooting

I Can't Find My Gift Email

If you can't locate your gift email:

  • Check your Spam, Junk, or Promotions folder.
  • Search your inbox for the sender's name or company.
  • Confirm you're checking the correct email address.

If you're still unable to find the email, contact the sender or your program administrator to request a resend.


My Gift Link Isn't Working

Try the following steps:

Verify the Link

Make sure you're using the complete gift link provided in the original email. Links that have been copied, pasted, or forwarded may not work correctly.

Try a Different Browser

Open the link in:

  • Chrome
  • Safari
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

Use a Private or Incognito Window

Browser extensions, cookies, or cached data can occasionally interfere with the gift experience.

Clear Your Browser Cache

If the page isn't loading correctly, clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.


Why Can't I Claim My Gift?

Your gift may not be available for one of the following reasons:

The Gift Has Already Been Claimed

Gift links can only be redeemed once.

The Gift Link Has Expired

Recipients have up to one year to claim their gift. Once the redemption window ends, the link becomes inactive.

You're Logged Into a Different Account

If you have an account, make sure you're signed in using the same email address that received the gift.

The Link Isn't Loading Correctly

Follow the troubleshooting steps above or try another device.


For Senders: Resending a Gift Email

If a recipient hasn't redeemed their gift yet, you can resend their gift email at any time.

  1. Open the order in your account.
  2. Locate the recipient's name or email address.
  3. Select Resend Email.

The recipient will receive a new copy of the original gift email containing their unique claim link.

Good to know:

  • You can resend the email as many times as needed.
  • Resending does not change the gift link.
  • Resending does not extend the expiration date.

Additional Tips
  • Gift links are unique and should not be shared.
  • Claim your gift before the redemption window expires.
  • Recipients in Canada will only see gifts available for Canadian shipping.
  • Tracking information is sent separately once a physical gift ships.
