# Adding Personal Messages to Gift Boxes

## How and where your gift message appears for your recipient.

Your gift message will always appear prominently in the recipient email. While not all vendors include a physical card in the package, every gift includes a branded digital email that delivers your personal message of appreciation directly to your recipient. It will always be featured prominently in the **recipient email**.

### Where Does My Gift Message Appear?

- **Digital Gift Email:**  
  Every gift includes a branded email that displays your personal message at the top of the recipient’s experience.
- **Physical Package:**  
  Some vendors may include a printed card, but this is not guaranteed. The digital message is the primary way your care and appreciation reach the recipient. - \*\*Primary Delivery Method:\*\* No matter what is included in the physical package, the branded recipient email guarantees your message is delivered.

### What Happens to My Message When I Send a Gift as a Surprise?

If you’ve chosen to **send your gift as a surprise**, your recipient won’t receive the digital email until **after** the gift has been delivered. This helps preserve the surprise, while still ensuring they receive your personal message once the box arrives.
