# RecognitionDNA Visibility & Privacy Settings

## Control who can view your RecognitionDNA insights—and how to update your settings.

### Overview

To share your RecognitionDNA with teammates, go to **Profile & Preferences** > **About** and switch the **Private / Public** toggle to **Public**. By default, your **RecognitionDNA** is visible to teammates to help foster connection and more personalized recognition. If you have set your profile to private, others won’t be able to view your RecognitionDNA until you update your visibility settings.

### How to Update Your Privacy Settings

To allow your teammates to view your RecognitionDNA results:

1. Click your **name** in the top-right corner.
2. Select **Profile & Preferences** from the dropdown.
3. Navigate to the **About** section.
4. Scroll to the toggle labeled **Private / Public**.
5. Switch it to **Public** to make your RecognitionDNA visible.
   
   To revert to private at any time, return to the same toggle and switch it back to **Private**. Your RecognitionDNA will immediately become hidden from teammates.

### What “Public” Does (and Doesn’t) Mean

- **Visible**: Only your **RecognitionDNA results**—insights that help others understand how you like to be recognized.
- **Not visible**: Your home address, contact info, and other personal profile fields remain private.
